Job Description

Service as a Registrar in the Urology Registrar department is to Diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. Responsible to examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Responsible to counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare whenever it is related to their individual cases.

Accountabilities

  1. Assess patients and document findings.
  2. Design and execute the patient’s plan of care.
  3. Educate patients on their health condition, investigations required, treatment options, and medication use.
  4. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
  5. Order and review results of patients’ investigations.
  6. Prescribe medications for patients.
  7. Fulfill obligations related to Patient Records.
  8. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  9. Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulation.
  10. Adhere to the mission, vision goals, and practice guidelines in NCC.
  11. Actively participate in all NCC Committees and Task Forces assigned.
  12. Adhere to the CBAHI standards of care.
  13. Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments of the NCC, other local agencies, vendors, patients, their families, and other interested parties.
  14. Complete fire safety requirements.
  15. Comply with clinical & departmental structure standards, including attendance.
  16. Participate in continuous quality improvement/program evaluation activities and observe measures to ensure Clinical, MOH and CBAHI quality Standards and Regulations are met.
  17. Participate in the continuous professional development of all junior staff.
  18. Evidence-based oriented.
  19. Integrate the population factors of heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into a patient's care.
  20. Develop, participate, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the Section, Department, or Clinical assigned by the chairman which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs and other educational activities.

Specialty Tasks:

  1. Specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and guidelines of the Saudi health council.
  2. Perform additional tasks based on specialty and their Clinical Privileges.

The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on business needs.

  3. Working Days: 6 Working Days
  4. Days off: 1 Day Off
  5. Working Hours: 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.

Job Requirements

Education

  1. Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from recognized universities.
  2. Master’s degree in (related specialty) from recognized universities. OR Fellowship with SCFHS approval.

Experience

  1. 2 years of clinical experience following Master’s degree or is eligible to sit the board examination in the specialty.

SCFHS License

  1. Licensed as Registrar in (related specialty) from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Computer Skills

  1. Office & Health Information Systems

Languages

  1. English and Arabic (fluent speaking and writing)
