Treasury and insurance accountant

Compiling of the daily Liquid Position report.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure Liquid Position complies with minimum requirements at all times and that the report is handed in timeously and correctly to all relevant parties involved.
2. Follow-up on omissions and differences.
3. Authorize expenses and petty cash payments.
4. Check and review other treasury specific general ledger accounts.
5. Ensure accuracy of interbank movements and interest accruals.
6. Prepare reconciliation pack of total treasury accounts.
7. Prepare bank reconciliation for all company bank accounts.
8. Prepare monthly cash flow forecast and projection.
9. Budget analysis (Compare Budgeted vs Actual figures) and inform manager of notable discrepancies.
10. Continuously scrutinize and improve existing procedures.
11. Ensure proper knowledge of systems and procedures.
12. Primarily responsible for prompt and accurate processing of Letter of Credit (L/C) and Letter of Guarantee (L/G) documents, including issuance, related amendments, and follow-up to receive the document and close the LC.
13. Communicate with banks and build strong relationships.
14. Responsible for complete set-up of new credit loan files.
15. Review new/renewed loans for updated financial information and/or file deficiencies prior to the approval process beginning.
16. Responsible for insurance files for the company assets and product and freight insurance and communicate with the insurance company for compensation.

Requirements:

1. English - Very Good
2. Arabic - Native / Mother Tongue
3. Own a Car - Any
4. Have Driving License - Any
5. Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
6. 5 years of experience in the same field.
7. Good User of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
8. Very good English.
