TPE IV / Senior Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for TPE IV/ Architectural Engineer with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, offshore, mining or infrastructure industries having engineering design project experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for building design per green building design concepts and application of LEEDs principles in design.
2. Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
3. Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
4. Supervise engineering work produced by juniors.
5. Conduct and receive training related to the job as required.
6. Plan and complete work within allocated man-hours effectively to avoid slippage.
7. Interface, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.
8. Delegate and distribute work as well as manage team billability.
9. Coordinate with all disciplines in the preparation and development of deliverables and ensure that other disciplines' input is incorporated.
10. Conduct site visits and verify site conditions, markup drawings, and perform as-built activities.
11. Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper record management.
12. Technical report writing and preparation of presentations.
13. Full knowledge of Aramco, Sabic, Royal Commission, SBC, and HCIS standards.
14. Technical bid evaluation, vendor document review, and subcontract scope management.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience, including 5 years of Middle East experience.
3. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Codes and standards with excellent safety awareness.
4. Extensive knowledge of all international codes and standards, mainly the International Building Code.
5. Extensive knowledge of all Saudi Arabia's codes and standards, mainly the Saudi Building Code.
6. Extensive knowledge in industrial buildings.
7. Extensive knowledge in BIM/Revit.
8. Extensive knowledge in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
9. Extensive knowledge in 3D Studio Max.
10. Extensive knowledge in Navisworks.
