TPE III Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is recruiting a TPE III Mechanical Engineer to support our Engineering team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for static equipment like tanks, vessels, and heat exchanger design.
2. Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
3. Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
4. Support in planning and completion of work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage.
5. Support in interfaces, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.
6. Coordinate with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines' input is incorporated.
7. Conduct site visits to verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform as-built activities.
8. Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper management of records.
9. Technical report writing and preparation of presentations.
10. Full knowledge of Aramco and Sabic standards.
11. Technical bid evaluation, vendor document review, and subcontract scope management.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. BSc in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
2. Able to prepare independently equipment design and calculations without vendor support for basic static equipment.
3. Preparation of technical specs, datasheets, equipment lists, and bid tabs.
