JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE I / Graduate Offshore Instrument Engineer to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Person should be interested in design activities in an office-based environment.
• Works under close supervision, providing design assistance to the team.
• Have interest in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
• Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Interested in learning and understanding the codes and standards required for the job.
• Shall have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Individual responsibilities will be commensurate with capabilities and experience level.
• Work collaboratively within a team-based environment with good communication.
• Open to field visits and the possibility of field assignments at plant/construction sites.

• Degree in Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
• Graduate-level understanding of engineering practices, design methods, and calculations.
• Knowledge of trends and economic conditions affecting the technical field.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering.
• Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context.
