TPE I / Graduate Offshore Instrumentation Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE I / Graduate Offshore Instrument Engineer to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Person should be interested in design activities in an office-based environment.
Works under close supervision, providing design assistance to the team.
Have interest in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Interested in learning and understanding the codes and standards required for the job.
Shall have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
Individual responsibilities will be commensurate with capabilities and experience level.
Work collaboratively within a team-based environment with good communication.
Open to field visits and the possibility of field assignments at plant/construction sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
Graduate-level understanding of engineering practices, design methods, and calculations.
Knowledge of trends and economic conditions affecting the technical field.
Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering.
Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context.
