Temperature Control Technician - HVAC

We are looking for a Temperature Control Technician (HVAC) for our location in Jeddah to focus on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation.

What you’ll do:

You will be part of a Project team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events, to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery. Your responsibilities include:

1. Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
2. Install, commission Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment (chiller/multiple ACs, heaters, compressors).
3. Lead a team to install a project.
4. Lead daily meetings on-site to assign work to the team and to give daily updates to clients.
5. Manage overall work progress at a project install site.
6. Provide first level technical advice to customers and assist Sales Team with enquiries.
7. Coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures.
8. Conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulations.
9. Resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.
10. Perform major equipment servicing/overhauls to defined service intervals and in line with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
11. Carry out intermediate troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on Temperature Control Equipment.
12. Intermediate Installation & Commissioning, for example commissioning of nominal temp chiller/multiple ACs, heaters, compressors etc.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

1. 5-6 years of experience in Refrigeration/HVAC.
2. Soft skills to communicate with clients.
3. Good computer skills to prepare reports for daily work.
4. Experience in Troubleshooting Chillers like JCI, York, Midia, and others.
5. Experience working with chillers, water coolers, air-cooled chillers, etc.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Team player.
8. Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
9. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
10. Experience in OFA units and Boilers preferred.
