Telecommunication Engineer

A Telecommunication Engineer, primarily responsible for implementing the Design phase and construction activity as a member of the engineering team, the telecom engineer will be in charge of the following:

1. Managing and updating telecommunication engineering deliverables
2. Managing and updating telecommunication system MTO, construction BOQ
3. Coordination with other engineering disciplines (Instrument & Control, Architecture, Civil, Steel Structure, etc.) for design changes
4. Red line markups for drawing revision
5. Supporting Construction Team (engineering support for telecom systems installation & construction)
6. Supervision of construction and/or installation work for various telecommunication systems
7. Coordination with Telecom System Integrator
8. Coordination with client, other Project Engineering Team

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering
2. Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in the construction sector
3. 5+ years of working experience with Aramco Contractors, especially in Pipeline Project Construction
4. Demonstrated high level organizational, construction inspection, and record keeping skills with the ability to undertake frequent travel to remote areas
5. Skilled in identifying local construction technologies and construction material sources
6. Familiarity with and ability to address and resolve cultural issues encountered in the Middle East and experience with Saudi Aramco
7. Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
8. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia
9. Candidate must be willing to work and reside in Dhahran, subject to client's approval
10. Fluency in written and spoken English
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
