Telco Cloud Architect (Saudi Nationality)

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Cloud Architect specialized in Telco to join our regional consulting practice team in Riyadh. The primary responsibility of the Red Hat Telco Cloud Architect is to passionately drive the adoption of Red Hat's solution in our key telco service provider customers, network equipment providers, and key system integrator partners. Through a series of interactions both in-person and remote, the Telco Cloud Architect will win the trust and confidence of their engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of the solution. The Telco Cloud Architect will have thorough working knowledge and hands-on experience with OpenShift and OpenStack-based cloud infrastructures to support applications providing containerized (CNF) and virtualized (VNF) network functions to the telco industry. Successful candidates will bring a wealth of industry experience and domain expertise to play a leading role in the design and project delivery of these business-critical solutions, and therefore will need a strong working knowledge of Agile project methodologies, as well as DevOps models and technologies.

What you will do:

1. Winning the confidence of our prospective customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape and influence the customer’s use cases and architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.

   
   

2. Designing and scoping delivery projects as well as leading consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments.

   
   

3. The design, creation, and delivery of content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell (pre-sales), service (consulting), and support (product support) our Telco solutions at scale.

   
   

4. Work closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products.

   
   

5. Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.

   
   

6. Demonstrate thought leadership in the Telco community by producing world-class white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry-leading conferences.

   
   

What will you bring:

1. Broad and deep technical experience with container, virtualization and cloud technologies e.g., OpenShift, OpenStack, software defined storage, automation, etc.

   
   

2. Previous experience with Telco Environment, and advanced networking concepts.

   
   

3. Proven record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior telco IT and business executives.

   
   

4. Knowledge of one or more communications service provider markets.

   
   

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

   
   

6. Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services.

   
   

7. Willingness to travel weekly to customer locations throughout Arabia Saudi.

   
   

8. Saudi nationality.
