An exciting opportunity is available for a Mechanical Technician, based in Hail, KSA who will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Summary:
Responsible for routine and non-routine mechanical maintenance of moderate complexity, while maintaining the availability of plant machinery and equipment of the company, performing preventive and corrective maintenance to keep in full operation, in accordance with standards and procedures of quality, safety, and environment. Able to sign off tasks on minor activities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Using drawings and sketches to carry out basic mechanical maintenance activities.
- Making and monitoring installations and mechanical repairs of moderate complexity.
- Taking measurements of vibration, temperature, and other basic measurements in mechanical equipment.
- Participating in calculations using workshop math and selecting appropriate size and grade of components.
- Supporting planning activities, providing necessary material to carry out mechanical maintenance activities.
- Participating in the preparation of mechanical maintenance programs and/or programming of activities in the area.
- Using basic instruments of measurement and control to make minor adjustments to mechanical equipment with supervision.
- Participating in testing machinery and equipment from specific rules and guidelines to ensure the elimination of defects.
- Complying with all relevant HSE standards; seeking to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma Level Education and qualification Professional/Technical certifications/accreditation in relevant discipline.
- 4 years’ experience with a Diploma or High School Certificate.
- Recognized technical certification relevant to discipline.
