Lead and perform all daily instruments maintenance activities including executing, troubleshooting, problem resolution to run the plant safely and efficiently without interruption. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, document, and repair a wide variety of Industrial Instrumentation, process analyzers, DCS, Programmable Logic Controllers, F& G system, Compressor & Centrifuge controls, Boiler and Burner control systems, Bagging m/c which include, electronic monitoring, controlling and signaling devices used in the production of Chlor Alkali, Calcium chloride, Epichlorohydrin, Ally Alcohol, Utility Vendor Packages, Epoxy Plants, Caustic Prilling Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with Nama policies and Safety procedures and contribute to achieve target SHE rates as well as comply with quality procedures and NAMA ISO certified standards.
- Perform daily maintenance activities according to Standard Maintenance Procedures with high quality and reasonable time and ensure proper filling and record of the maintenance checklist. Also, ensure proper housekeeping after activity completion.
- Provide proper feedback to the supervisor on any findings or abnormalities during job performance. Act as Supervisor during their absence, prepare and submit feedback, and report to superiors as required.
- Respond to operation and maintenance activities (normal and emergency cases) and attend on-call if assigned.
- Attend all on-job and classroom training sessions and all other training scheduled.
- Work and troubleshoot independently due to the diverse nature of the work.
- Have knowledge, skills, and abilities to troubleshoot programmable logic control (PLC) software, DCS, Boiler Control System, and Burner Management System.
- Demonstrate proficiency in job requirements throughout experience and acquire and maintain the required certification.
- Support Supervisor in creating periodic spare parts review.
- Plan for Shutdown activities job list.
- Maintain, repair, and perform calibration of Field Instruments such as Temperature Transmitters, different types of Pressure Transmitters, Level Transmitters.
- Maintain, repair, and perform calibration of Field Instruments such as load cells, pH, Conductivity, ORP sensors, and their transmitters.
- Maintain, repair, and perform calibration of process analyzers such as ECH GC, O2 Analyzers of different Types, Propylene Analyzer, Moisture Analyzer, CO Analyzer, HCL Analyzers, free Chlorine Analyzers, AAL GC. Follow up analyzers PM schedule.
- Have maintenance knowledge of various types of Flowmeter such as DP, Coriolis, electromagnetic, Vortex, etc.
- Perform PM/servicing for all types of control valves and on-off of various types such as globe valves, butterfly valves, ball valves, diaphragm valves, and their related parts in solenoid valves, positioner, limit switches.
- Maintain, repair, and perform calibration of vendor packages such as bagging m/c, drumming m/c, weighbridges, weighers.
- Maintain, repair, and perform calibration of different types of Gas Detectors installed in the plant.
- Be proficient in handling various types of instrument tools such as Beamex Calibrators, 375/475/4100 HART communicators.
- Lay out, install, and place into service new controlling and instruments devices, calibrating as required.
- Make periodic preventative maintenance inspections of all control instruments, diagnosing existing or potential trouble; clean, lubricate, calibrate, and adjust as conditions indicate.
- Prepare scope of work for new site jobs.
Job Qualification:
- 3 Years Diploma in Process Instrumentation and Control from a reputed college/University.
- Vocational Training/Industrial Training Institute.
Job Skills / Knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of Instrumentation and Independent Troubleshooting Skills.
- Basic knowledge of DCS and Troubleshooting.
- Excellent knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and their troubleshooting.
- Good troubleshooting knowledge of analyzers. Basic GC operation and troubleshooting.
- Computer knowledge. Ability to create PR in the SAP system.
- Can lead a small team.
- Knowledge of Industrial safety procedures and standards.
- Experienced in confined space, hot works, working at heights, and isolation of energy requirement.
- Knowledgeable in hazard identification related to environmental aspects and personal safety.
- Great ability to do a risk assessment before taking the permit and the steps to mitigate it during the job like PPE requirement, isolation of process, etc.
- Fully aware of Plant EHS requirements for safe execution of tasks.
