Technician III, QA/QC Job

Work Location: KSA > Jubail

An exciting opportunity is available for Technician IV, QAQC located in Jubail.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs sampling activities and routine testing and other laboratory tasks in line with established guidelines, procedures, and schedules.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Carries out duties in accordance with relevant SHE rules and procedures and good laboratory practice.
2. Conducts routine testing and related tasks following standard instructions and schedules.
3. Carries out work under supervision and follows pre-established guidelines and procedures.
4. Selects samples for testing using sampling equipment; labels and records samples.
5. Carries out basic tests and supports more experienced staff with testing activities.
6. Records observations, measurements, and inspection or test data.
7. Assists with routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.

General Education and Qualifications:

1. Fresh graduate or 0-2 years of experience in any polymer/chemical/water laboratory.
2. Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, pH, and Karl Fischer titration.
3. Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements and lab safety protocols.
4. Basic LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) skills for sample tracking and data entry.

Skills:

1. Experience with GC-MS, FTIR, ICP, XRF, and Karl Fischer titration.
2. Knowledge of Melt Flow Index (MFI) testing using advanced equipment like Göttfert MI40.
3. Familiarity with environmental testing for water and gas samples to support process monitoring.
4. Previous experience working in QC shift-based work.
5. Any relevant certifications in quality control or laboratory testing.
