Technician 2

Role Purpose

A Technician Level 2 is expected to perform maintenance and repairs of the agreed equipment/systems to the required manufacturers' standards.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

1. Independently carry out maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment/systems in line with individual experience and knowledge.
2. When required, work with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
3. Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults using manufacturers' information.
4. Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity, and Efficiency in line with manufacturers' standard times.
5. Ensure company/manufacturers' policies and procedures are followed.
6. Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with colleagues.
7. Provide technical advice to colleagues.
8. Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
9. Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

Education & Certifications

• High school education
• Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufacturers' qualification

Required Years of Experience

4 to 6 years of work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment.
