Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Specialist Engineer to drive our growth in the Saudi market. This role is vital in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, as well as expanding our client and partner network.
Strong technical acumen combined with exceptional sales skills to drive revenue growth and market penetration as well as extensive proven market knowledge and experience (must live in Riyadh already and have at least 5 years of sales experience in the city).
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales Execution:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic prospecting.
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Further, you will continue to be responsible for client satisfaction past the deal closure.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries to drive revenue growth beyond initial sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor AI, IoT, and Edge Computing solutions to customer needs.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
2. Market & Competitive Intelligence:
- Gather insights into market trends, customer pain points, and competitive positioning to refine sales strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on market opportunities, challenges, and expansion strategies.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Growth:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with leading technology platforms and business associations in Saudi Arabia and other key markets to enhance brand visibility and adoption.
- Work with partners to create joint go-to-market strategies and co-branded sales initiatives.
4. Process Optimization & Customer Engagement:
- Continuously optimize sales processes and business development efforts to increase efficiency and deal closure rates.
- Ensure long-term engagement with customers by providing ongoing support and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Expected Results:
At the initial stage of engagement, we expect the Technical Sales Engineer to achieve the following:
Revenue Growth & Sales Targets:
- Secure at least three new high-value clients within the first six months.
- Contribute to meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
Market Expansion & Visibility:
- Successfully establish our presence in the Saudi Arabia market, increasing brand awareness and partnerships.
- Develop strategic partnerships with at least two leading technology firms or industry associations in the region.
Process & Strategy Optimization:
- Improve and implement efficient business development strategies, increasing conversion rates of leads into sales.
- Provide detailed market analysis and competitive intelligence reports to refine company positioning and product offerings.
Customer & Partner Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with at least five key industry stakeholders, fostering ongoing collaboration.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience through personalized engagement, technical support, and solution customization.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background with experience in AI, IoT, Edge Computing, or related fields.
- 5 years of sales experience in Riyadh Market.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Excellent sales and business development skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while aligning with company objectives.
- Experience in developing market entry strategies and executing GTM plans.
- Willingness to travel as needed to engage clients, attend industry events, and close deals.
- Prior experience in the technology sector in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia.
