General Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer for our Pipeline & Process Services (PPS) division. In this role, you will drive sales growth by providing expert technical solutions while managing and executing pipeline pre-commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning services. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, prepare tailored proposals, and oversee the successful execution of projects, ensuring optimal results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the pipeline & process services sector.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, and operators.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Promote company services and solutions through technical presentations and client meetings.

Technical Support & Proposal Development:

  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable pipeline & process services solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
  • Provide technical support during the bidding and project execution phases.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize service offerings.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and pre-job surveys to assess project requirements.
  • Ensure that engineering calculations, drawings, and procedures are accurate and meet project needs.

Project Coordination & Execution:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating service execution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with field engineers and project teams to deliver solutions effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, HSE guidelines, and company policies. Lead the planning, design, and execution of pipeline & process services projects, including hydrotesting, pigging, chemical cleaning, dewatering, drying & Nitrogen lay-up.
  • Develop detailed project execution plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of equipment and materials.

Customer Engagement & After-Sales Support:

  • Follow up with clients to ensure service quality and satisfaction.
  • Provide post-project technical support and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Address and resolve client concerns efficiently.

HSE & Quality Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
  • Lead safety meetings and risk assessments before project execution.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or a related Engineering field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in pipeline & Process pre-commissioning, Commissioning and maintenance services.
  • Prior experience in technical sales or business development is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline hydrotesting, pigging, chemical cleaning, and drying processes.
  • Strong understanding of Process services including Chemical Cleaning , Air blowing, Lube oil Flushing , Nitrogen services , Flange management .
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as Aramco Standard, ASME, API, and ISO.
  • Familiarity with equipment used in pipeline services (pumps, compressors, filtration units, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
