Job description

This job is responsible for checking the airframes and components of the aircraft.

  • KEY Accountabilities

- Assist technicians in set-up/tear-down of equipment or perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall equipment and shops upkeep.

- Assist technicians in project execution and daily tasks associated with providing industrial maintenance services.

- Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.

- Maintain constant surveillance and immediate control of industrial radiographic equipment at all times while in use.

- Secure radiographic equipment from unauthorized removal at all times when not tended under constant surveillance and immediate control.

- Prevent all unauthorized personnel from being within the restricted area boundaries while radiographic equipment is in use.

- Apply various methods in laboratory situations or at operations properties of materials, objects, and instruments.

- Apply technical knowledge to perform simple tasks in working on equipment, following verbal or written instructions which cover all procedures.

- Perform both physical and chemical inspections including fluorescent penetrant.

- Setup and perform such tests per the associated Non-Destructive Testing procedures and analyze relevant data per client's quality requirements.

- Evaluate and interpret the Non-Destructive Testing results with respect to applicable codes, standards, specifications, and approved company procedures.

- Maintain the Non-Destructive Testing equipment and instruments in good condition.

  • Requirements & Qualifications

- Company authorization with aircraft type rating.

- Amos work experience OR company work experience record.

- Previous company training record with certifications (proven).

- Certificate of release to service (CRS) if available.

- An authority license (preferred GACA/FAA or EASA).

- Graduate from technical aviation academy school (A&P) or holding a degree in aviation/aerospace engineering.

- Minimum work experience of 5 years (must).

- Physically fit with a healthy condition.

- Practiced inspection tasks (prefer who used to work as aircraft inspector).

- Aircraft Type rating from technical school (preferred B-787/A320/A330).

- Compliance with regulatory standards: Technical Inspectors must stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and standards in the aviation industry. They should have knowledge of relevant safety regulations and be committed to ensuring compliance with these requirements.

- Documentation and reporting: Technical Inspectors should have strong documentation and reporting skills, as they are responsible for maintaining accurate records of inspections, findings, and recommendations.
