Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for monitoring and efficient function of the area and looks after overall control of all the functions in the Section.
  2. Ensures immediate action in case of change of aircraft, additional flight etc.
  3. Responsible for the withdrawals of materials from Main Store and other sources and ensure that required resources/items are available in the area for smooth operation.
  4. Coordinates with Maintenance Department for the maintenance of any major minor handling equipment and working facilities ensuring that they are done within the deadline.
  5. Assists the Supervisor/Assistant Managers in the preparation of Peak planning covering overall functions of the Section.
  6. Coordinates with other Sections/Departments for required information and support to ensure smooth functioning of his section.
  7. Maintains strict discipline in the Section.
  8. Spot checks turn out of the staff and reports to the concerned Supervisor/In-Charge.
  9. Prepares daily activity report, statistics and any other reports as directed by the Supervisor for timely submission.
  10. Ensures follow up on daily activities through logbook and proper briefing / handover to the next Shift Supervisor.
  11. Assists Senior Supervisor in the preparation of training programs, rosters and vacation plan and ensures that they are strictly followed.
  12. Supervises all extra jobs assigned through IOCs/Emails and maintains proper files for various instructions received from time to time.
  13. Ensures completion and submission of TAS on time.
  14. Supervises Inventory at the end of the month for submission to Accounts Department.
  15. Ensures assembly and loading of flights according to DBL and on deadlines.
  16. Coordinates with Handling Supervisors to ensure all flights are checked on time in Assembly area.
  17. Responsible for following the operation plan, reports any deviations to Supervisor.
  18. Responsible to take over Transport Supervisor's whenever required.
  19. Coordinates between Service Reps checking flights and all preparation Sections to ensure on time assembly and standards followed.
  20. Ensures standard requirement of dry ice is always in hand. Coordinates with Main Stores for same.
  21. Ensures availability of dry stores and coordinates with Saudia Stores for procurement of same.
  22. Coordinates with Sky sales to ensure availability of Sky sales carts for SV flights.
  23. Ensures that up to date information, are available as regards to loading / packing plan, menu description etc. in Assembly for ready reference.
  24. Ensures that the Security Checklists are duly filled in by the staff checking the flights. Also maintains proper record of it.
  25. Ensures up catering orders are actioned on priority.
  26. In case of accident ensures that the causes are thoroughly investigated, and a proper report is forwarded to Supervisor.
  27. Liaise with Maintenance/Cleaning Sections on shift basis for services as and when required.
  28. Ensures serviceability of equipment/items provided on flights.
  29. Ensures that safety regulations are briefed to all staff reporting to him.
  30. Ensures close coordination with Transport, Dispatch, Handling, Tray Setting, Beverage, Kit, Dishwashing, Equipment and Production for smooth functioning of the Section.
  31. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  32. Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law. Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  33. Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
  34. Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
  35. Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
  36. Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using CATRION information and technical assets only for business purposes.
  37. Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in CATRION before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
  38. Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.
