Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our educational team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting lead teachers and contributing to the academic and personal growth of our students.
Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities
Provide individualized support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments
Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assist in preparing educational materials and setting up classroom spaces
Support student assessment processes and maintain accurate records of student progress
Supervise students during non-classroom times such as lunch, recess, and field trips
Assist with classroom management and reinforce positive behavior strategies
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate student progress as needed
Adapt teaching materials and approaches to meet diverse learning needs
Stay current with educational technology and assist in its implementation in the classroom
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent preferred
Prior experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Proficiency in lesson planning support and student assessment techniques
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Patience and ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Proficiency in using educational software and basic computer skills
Understanding of child development and learning theories
Familiarity with educational standards and practices in Saudi Arabia
Willingness to work in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to the local culture
Ability to maintain a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
