We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef for a Sushi Restaurantin Jeddah, Saudi Arabiato lead our client's kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, particularly in sushi preparation, and will possess strong leadership skills to maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality sushi and other dishes, maintaining consistency and creativity
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, following health and safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and performance
Collaborate with management to create and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served on time, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation
Manage kitchen operations during busy service times, ensuring a smooth workflow and excellent customer satisfaction
Handle staff schedules, performance reviews, and team dynamics
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of professional culinary experience specializing in sushi preparation
Proven experience in a leadership role within a kitchen environment
Proficiency in English
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
