Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily operations of Support Services, including Laundry, Housing, Transportation, Housekeeping, and Facility Services. Ensure all services are aligned with Fakeeh Care standards. Provide supervision and direction to staff, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards while effectively addressing their needs.
  2. Establish and maintain Support Services policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  3. Manage and monitor all Support Services functions and personnel within each unit, conducting inspections to ensure conformance with Fakeeh Care policies and procedures.
  4. Oversee the operation of Support Services across all Fakeeh Care sites including ambulatory centers, ensuring effective service delivery.
  5. Ensure the validity of service contracts with external providers.
  6. Implement efficient controls for housing new employee arrivals.
  7. Monitor performance against approved indicators and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Liaise with internal and external providers to secure optimal service levels for Support Services, coordinating with the Facility Management department for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs).
  9. Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Infection Control standards in collaboration with Facility Management.
  10. Follow predefined purchasing and stock/inventory control procedures to ensure effective resource management.
  11. Submit monthly reports on current occupancy and future demands by coordinating with HR, providing periodic updates on overall and specific performance metrics.
  12. Investigate complaints related to section services and take corrective action as necessary to enhance service delivery.
  13. Conduct meetings with section Unit Managers and collaborate with the Hospitality Manager to establish realistic KPIs for the Units.
  14. Ensure subordinates have clear and achievable goals through structured parameters, conducting periodic assessments based on pre-approved Fakeeh Hospital processes.
Qualifications:
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives effectively.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare Management or a related field.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Licenses / Certifications: N/A
