We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination. They will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management & Operations
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
Ensure timely sourcing, purchasing, and distribution of materials/products.
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to prevent disruptions.
Vendor & Supplier Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to optimize costs and quality.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Inventory & Demand Planning
Analyze demand forecasts and align procurement strategies accordingly.
Optimize inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Implement inventory control techniques and warehouse management best practices.
Logistics & Distribution
Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Optimize shipping routes, modes, and costs while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Process Improvement & Compliance
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and procurement strategies.
Proficiency in supply chain software (ERP, SAP, or similar tools).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP).
