Join the KES Middle East Supply Chain team based in Dammam, Saudi and embark on an exciting career as a Supply Chain Manager for the region. In this role, you will contribute to developing a best-in-class supply chain, supporting operations for direct and indirect procurement, subcontracting, logistics, and inventory management while working closely with business partners to meet their needs and continuously improve processes.

As an ideal candidate, you will bring your expertise in supply chain and/or project procurement management in the heavy construction industry or oil & gas industry, demonstrating strong leadership, a sense of ownership, a motivated attitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also crucial for effective communication with stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop the Supply Chain team. Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and monitoring of metrics to align the goals and objectives for the procurement, expediting, logistics, and inventory functions.
  • Monitor and review the company's project procurement activities and ensure that they are completed within the scheduled period, budget, and required quality. Take necessary actions to expedite processes and solve issues & claims arising out.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of goods and services.
  • Develop best management and quality practices while leading a team that fosters effective business relations with KES suppliers, internal and external customers.
  • Support the development of global Supply Chain strategy and execute the implementation.
  • Lead and drive change whenever needed.
  • Develop a best-in-class supply chain function which boosts the whole operations of the company.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce excess inventory, and improve inventory turnover.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, such as processing information files, reporting, and other paperwork.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules.
  • Creative thinking ability to develop and create new ideas, systems, and relationships for the success of the company.
  • Planning skills: ability to develop specific plans and goals to help accomplish tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to resolve complaints, disputes, and conflicts.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing supply chain teams, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Supply Chain knowledge including Procurement, Expediting, Logistics, and Inventory management, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector or heavy construction industry.
  • Aramco procurement requirements knowledge including Aramco RVL.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English Languages.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in a similar position in the Saudi oil & gas industry.
  • Audits experience (ISO9001, Clients, etc.).
  • Implementation of an ERP and set-up of IT Supply Chain routine.
