Job Description: The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. This role will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, procurement, inventory control, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes.
Manage procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain good relationships with key vendors.
Oversee inventory management to ensure efficient stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline operations.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Develop and manage the budget for the supply chain department.
Lead and develop the supply chain team.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the steel fabrication and/or pressure vessel industries.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
