Job Title: Supply Chain Executive

Education: Bachelor of Business Administration (Management)

Nationality: Any Nationality

Gender: Male

Job Description:

  1. Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers for heavy equipment and spare parts.
  2. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.
  3. Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely deliveries.
  4. Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian import/export regulations and customs requirements.

Inventory & Warehouse Management:

  1. Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and cost efficiency.
  2. Monitor stock levels and implement reordering strategies based on demand forecasts.
  3. Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage, handling, and safety of heavy equipment and spare parts.
  4. Implement inventory tracking systems (ERP/HCM) to reduce stock discrepancies.

Logistics & Distribution:

  1. Plan and execute the transportation of equipment and spare parts within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
  2. Optimize logistics routes and freight costs to enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Ensure compliance with local transportation laws and safety regulations.
  4. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport providers to ensure timely clearance and delivery.

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

  1. Work closely with sales and operations teams to forecast demand and ensure stock availability.
  2. Analyze market trends and historical data to improve procurement and supply chain strategies.
  3. Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Compliance & Documentation:

  1. Ensure accurate documentation for procurement, shipping, and customs clearance.
  2. Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and supplier contracts.
  3. Adhere to ISO standards, local labor laws, and safety guidelines.

Cost Control & Performance Optimization:

  1. Identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
  2. Monitor supply chain KPIs and recommend process improvements.
  3. Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Parts, Service, HR, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.

Undertake additional job-related tasks as necessary to support the company's mission and operations.

Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.

  1. Procurement Efficiency: Suppliers lead time, cost savings achieved, and on-time deliveries.
  2. Inventory Management: Stock turnover ratio, inventory accuracy, and demand forecast accuracy.
  3. Logistics Performance: Delivery lead time, transportation cost per unit, and shipment accuracy.
  4. Cost Savings & Optimization: Reduction in procurement and logistics expenses.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management: Adherence to regulatory requirements and customs clearance efficiency.
  6. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  7. Strong knowledge of international procurement and logistics regulations.
  8. Expertise in inventory planning and demand forecasting tools.
