Superintendent Quality Control

Position: Superintendent Quality Control

Location: This Job requires relocation to Ras Al Khair, Eastern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Department: Production Engineering & Quality

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reports all matters about Product Quality in all MRC operations.
2. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs.
3. Oversees/directs the personnel of the Quality Control Section of MRC.
4. Passes final judgement on materials with non-conformity report.
5. Investigates and analyses causes of non-conformity and advises production to prevent recurrence.
6. Conducts quality focus meetings with production and maintenance.
7. Supports commissioning activities during any start-up phase.
8. Researches and writes statistical/technical reports.
9. Enforces good standards of housekeeping in the areas worked.
10. Performs other similar and associated duties as required by the Engineering Rolling Manager.
11. Follow company rules and regulations, labour laws and management directives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy/Chemistry/Mechanical or related field.
2. Good knowledge of metal rolling operations and downstream use of the material.
3. Required excellent spoken and written English.

Experience:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in Metallurgical process/Quality Control in Aluminium Rolling, coating, steel and metal.
2. Detailed technical/metallurgical knowledge of Aluminium rolling operations.
3. Experience with international quality standards such as ISO 9000.
