Job Description

Subject Matter Expert Leader with extensive experience in core banking systems for a leading bank. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the implementation and delivery of the core banking system for a new digital bank, ensuring that all aspects are executed with precision and aligned with business goals.

1. Lead the end-to-end delivery and implementation of core banking systems for the new digital bank.
2. Oversee the integration of core banking components to ensure seamless functionality.
3. Act as a subject matter expert in core banking processes, providing insights and strategies for successful delivery.
4. Understand and manage the delivery lifecycle of core banking implementation projects.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, business operations, and external vendors.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
7. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
8. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to all stakeholders.
9. Identify and mitigate risks associated with core banking system implementations.
10. Ensure the delivery meets high-quality standards and adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. 10+ years of experience in the core banking domain.
2. Proven track record of managing core banking projects, preferably for leading digital banks.
3. In-depth experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos, Finacle, or similar applications.
4. Strong understanding of customer information systems, transaction processing, and account management.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale core banking projects from initiation to completion.
6. Expertise in reviewing and evaluating ERP systems and selecting suitable technologies.
7. Strong analytical and communication skills.
