About the Job:
We are currently looking for a Store Manager to join ESPRIT in Jeddah. As a Store Manager you will be accountable for:
People Development / HR: * Networks, recruits, hires, develops and retains high quality management and associates to fill store profile and succession planning. * Leads by example, trains, develops and provides ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising and delivering the customer experience. * Organizes weekly staff meetings to recap store performance, and to communicate new company goals and strategies, as well as new store procedures and performance targets.
Customer Experience / Sales: * Ensures an excellent level of customer service is a priority at all times by executing and achieving the Customer Experience consistently through regular assessment, coaching and follow-up with team. * Maintains visibility and leads by example on the selling floor to answer customer questions and supports all selling functions. * Implements all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
Drive Sales & Profitability: * Meets or exceeds profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink and conversion. * Creates and executes strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses.
Operational Effectiveness: * Controls company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures (consistent management of inventory, in- and out-bound stock movements, sales, returns, exchange, store maintenance, etc).
About You:
A passionate and experienced retailer, your background will include managing fashion retail operations and achieving optimum sales targets. Full P & L responsibility will also lie with you and therefore you will need to be comfortable managing costs and budgets and interpreting sales data to report back to management on the overall financial status of your business.
Your ability to develop, coach and mentor your team will be a critical success factor. Therefore your success at coaching others and demonstrating your ability to manage through others and deal with the ups and downs of supervising staff will be a key area we will measure.
Overall you are capable commercially and maintain awareness of market positioning while understanding the many contributing factors that increase or decrease foot fall and thus impacts your store.
