JOB TITLE

Store Administrative Associate | MAF LifeStyle | Furniture

ROLE SUMMARY

The role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the cash office and provides administrative support to the store management team through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The individual must be proficient in identifying and resolving cash discrepancies, demonstrate in-depth knowledge of operational compliance requirements, and ensure all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Assists store management in completion of weekly and monthly audit checklists.
  • Ensures operation of office and POS equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining.
  • Responsible for daily cash banking and balancing of all monies received on a daily basis.
  • Updates DSR to be sent to finance highlighting any discrepancies.
  • Acts as custodian for the petty cash and cash float of the store.
  • Ensures all in-store equipment is working to the standards required to give the best experience to our customers.
  • Accountable for reporting any issues related to systems, standards, digital platforms, and facility management to the concerned department and follows up until it is resolved.
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies, anticipating changes in requirements and ensuring that the stocks are maintained within budget.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Certificate
  • 2 years retail, cash handling, and secretarial experience
  • Good Communication Skills
