Responsibilities
• Develop and implement Diversity Statistics policies and procedures ensuring effective and efficient results achievement.
• Provide guidance in identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices.
• Stay updated on Population, Gender, and Diversity Statistics leading practices and trends, and recommend corrective measures and improvements.
• Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide expertise in identifying stakeholder engagement barriers and recommend best courses of action.
• Gain insights into local market development, business opportunities, and the regulatory landscape.
• Manage and assist the team to perform operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to identify and recruit talent for Population, Gender, and Diversity Statistics.
• Set performance objectives, provide support, evaluate incumbents, and give regular feedback on performance.
• Promote a high-performance working environment embracing the company's values.
• Oversee the development of statistical guidelines and methodologies, providing expert opinion as needed.
• Assess and prioritize business needs, propose solutions, and support the development of business cases for initiatives/projects.
• Review technical proposals to provide expert opinions and recommendations, engaging with stakeholders for presentations.
• Ensure alignment of all stakeholders on statistical needs and oversee plan development for recommendations on collection methods.
• Direct data gathering, classification, and coding while ensuring compliance with guidelines, providing expert consultations as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all data files adhering to guidelines and quality standards.
• Complete all required statistical analyses in a timely manner, assess outputs, and validate against expectations.
• Review final statistical reports and conduct pre-release discussions with subject matter experts for necessary modifications.
• Assess evaluation outcomes and guide the development of action plans for continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
• 9+ years of experience in a Statistics field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent is required.
• Master's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent is preferred.
• Doctorate's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
