Job Description
Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Staff Nurse – Primary/Outpatient Care to be based in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and vital sign measurements, to identify patient health concerns and risk factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers, focusing on preventive care, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to empower them in self-management and decision-making.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to established protocols.
Perform various clinical procedures and interventions, such as wound care, injections, specimen collection, and diagnostic tests, following standard procedures and infection control guidelines.
Monitor patients' progress, review laboratory and diagnostic test results, and evaluate treatment effectiveness, collaborating with healthcare team members to modify care plans as needed.
Provide counseling, emotional support, and referrals to patients and families, addressing their psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs throughout the healthcare continuum.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR) systems, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinate care transitions, referrals to specialty services, and follow-up appointments, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication among healthcare providers and community resources.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical competencies and promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Nursing.
Minimum 2 years experience in Primary/Outpatient Care.
Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
Preferably with valid SCFHS Nursing Specialist/Technician license/certificate.
Current license as a professional registered nurse.
