Overview
As a Staff Nurse, you will play an important role in providing and coordinating patient care within a healthcare facility. Your commitment, attention to detail, and clinical expertise will contribute to ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assessing patient health and documenting their medical history
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring and reporting patient symptoms and changes in condition
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Providing patient and family education on disease prevention and management
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
Participating in patient care conferences and staff meetings
Assisting with medical procedures and examinations
Documenting all patient care actions and interventions
Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
Overseeing the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
Supporting and mentoring nursing assistants and other staff
Adhering to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Knowledge of patient care regulations and best practices
Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient interactions
Skills: cardiac care, intensive care, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), PICU
