Promote SMS reporting using the THC safety management systems in place.
Recommendation of engineering safety practices, ensure use of PPE and advising any deficiencies.
Ensure FOD control measures are implemented by Part 145 Staff.
Report any hangar facility deficiencies/defect to the Line Manager and/or through the safety management system as required.
All maintenance, preventative maintenance and/or alterations are carried out correctly using current approved technical data.
Make sure compliance with the RSQCM, GMM and TODPM Work Instructions at all times.
Ensure the required engineering standards, aircraft maintenance documentation completion is carried out correctly.
Attend/perform daily toolbox talks and aircraft Team briefings on assigned maintenance projects.
Attend weekly production planning meetings as required to report on hangar maintenance activities, advising on specific manning, tooling, test equipment and parts requirements.
Ensure all removed aircraft components are labelled, protected, and stored correctly for aircraft under maintenance. Identify and advise Line Manager of staff training needs.
Promote Teamwork, staff discipline, wearing of company provided uniform and corporate identity.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
Qualifications:
Equivalent EASA/FAA/ICAO Type II License (If non-GACA Licensed).
Experience & Skills:
5 years of experience as a technician or any related field.
Type rated on 1 or more of THC fleet (minimum 3 years) on H145, H125, H160, or Aw139.
Previous experience as a Part 145 rostered RII/Inspector.
Knowledge of GACA rules and regulations.
Good knowledge of organizational procedures.
Previous use of THC or Equivalent maintenance forecasting systems.
Use of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Exercise the privileges of his certificate and rating.
