Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security.
Experience Level : From 8 to 15 years.
Technical Qualification :
At least 8 years of experience as a project manager handling IT and cybersecurity projects.
Technical knowledge and familiarity with information technology and cybersecurity are essential.
Good understanding of the technologies and systems relevant to their projects.
Effective communication skills for interacting with project teams, stakeholders, and executives.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities :
Communicate continuously with the Client’s representatives regarding project progress and areas of concern.
Work with project management tools.
Participate in planning and formulating design alternatives and solutions for construction projects; provide conceptual estimates, feasibility studies, and cost estimates, and coordinate the production of basic design plans and construction documents.
Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions; perform project cost estimating and value engineering as appropriate.
Review and interpret proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications for appropriateness to required function and institutional standards; initiate revisions where appropriate and advise consultants and clients on how best to achieve required results.
Ensure that project operations follow design specifications and client requirements.
Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are met; prepare project specifications and coordinate procurement as appropriate.
Authorize the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, and approve contractor invoices for payment.
Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
Inspect, approve, and accept completed projects for the institution, ensuring conformance with institutional standards, building and life safety codes, and architectural/engineering specifications.
Represent the institution in business with customers, consultants, contractors, and other public and/or private agencies and organizations.
Research and prepare various reports pertaining to operations, equipment, policies, procedures, and other issues as appropriate.
Upload project reports upon completion and hand them over, including project name and client.
Masterplan brief/design, including time and cost.
Consultant and contractor performance.
Cost index.
Inform oneself of the relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures in place within Hill International, and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
