Responsibilities


As part of the KSA sales team, the primary role of this position is to maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement agreed merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high levels of customer service. Operating procedures must be followed to ensure continuity of standards across the KSA to support these primary job functions. The Pre-seller will also provide the supervisor with the latest market information to develop sales opportunities. The Pre-seller is required to attend training courses designed to improve levels of professionalism and customer service and complete a daily debriefing with the supervisor.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers, measured against previously agreed targets.
  2. Maintain customer service standards as approved by the supervisor, with call frequencies and daily route plans key to customer satisfaction.
  3. Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks as per operating procedures, ensuring the sales vehicle is clean and roadworthy.
  4. Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including delivery arrangements.
  5. Maintain individual customer stock levels to minimize out-of-stock problems.
  6. Implement agreed in-store merchandising communicated by the supervisor.
  7. Advise the supervisor of relevant competitor activity in the area served.
  8. Daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash & credit sales.
  9. Maintain a high standard of grooming and presentation.
  10. Obey driving regulations and maintain a high standard of driving.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  2. 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales & Account building.
  3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Conflict management and sales planning abilities.
  5. Basic accounting skills.
