Job Purpose:
Planning of maintenance activity as per Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP) / OMS-431. The Maintenance Work Process consists of an integrated set of tools and procedures designed to assist the organization in the work management. The work process will be used as the system to identify, prioritize, plan, schedule, execute, provide technical history information, execution details and closure.
Key Accountabilities:
- Safety is a core value for the Maintenance Planner. It includes personal safety of the maintenance people assigned to the start-up, shutdowns, or special daily activities as well as operational/process safety. The Planner has to report incidents as per OMS requirements.
- Planning of maintenance activity as per Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP) / OMS-431. Review the KPI and performance data to increase the reliability of equipment and the effective utilization of the manpower.
- Ensure to plan and coordinate MS activities as per the workflow, rules, and responsibilities. Ensure not to fail to plan any SCD, RL1 & RL2 activities.
- Ensure to communicate and receive any deferment before the planned date if the PMs cannot be done for any reason.
- Ensure high-quality detail planning to avoid any failure (Identifying the Task List, Operational work center, man-hours, components, services, production resource tool (PRT), relationships required to perform a particular activity).
- Conduct site visits frequently to determine the resources and services required before planning any task and then to plan them as per AMWP (KAFAA) planning and scheduling system.
- Identifies materials & services availability for the medium and low work orders and prepare requisitions / reserves materials in advance for the non-available materials and/or services, update the WO with appropriate user status.
- Coordinates with the service section for PR/PO creation for Repair & Return services items, takes care of internal logistics, follows with the material section delivery & returns the repaired material to stock.
- Returns all the unused materials to stock using the SAP system.
- Follows up with the service section for releasing of PR/PO delivery of the required services or material or both.
- Prepares reports & escalates to concerned area managers for any non-compliance.
- Generates reports for pending work orders on a weekly basis & takes appropriate actions to reduce the pending work orders.
- Feedback stakeholders about any deviations in PM03.
- Recommend any updates pertaining to master data enhancement, if any.
- Responsible to generate reports daily, weekly, and monthly as needed by management including KPI, Cost, etc.
- In case of shutdown, prepare active shutdown list, arrange pre-shutdown meeting with all disciplines to evaluate job scope, timeframe, resources including third party. Prepare the job packs for every activity.
- Arrange shutdown update meeting during shutdown and communicate shutdown progress to all disciplines. Arrange a critique meeting after start-up within 72 hours. Resulted follow-up items to be tracked. Prepare and communicate close-out report within one week for shutdown indicating all jobs covered and labor, material, and services cost. He has to ensure material and services are ready for the maintenance team before starting the activity. Communicate the look-ahead 12- and 24-hours activities with operation and maintenance. Follow up and update for all activities in the field.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree with 2-5 years experience.
- Diploma with 10 years minimum experience in maintenance planning in petrochemical complex or similar plants.
Minimum Experience:
- 2-5 years experience in maintenance planning department with sound knowledge of PM and MM SAP module.
Job Specific Skills:
- Very good knowledge of SAP system, and planning software.
- Advance on English.
