Job Description

• Lead the preparation of detailed electrical cost estimates for diverse projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of project drawings and specifications to extract quantifiable data for estimation purposes.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project scopes and budgets that align with overall project goals.
• Identify and assess potential risks and cost-saving opportunities, providing recommendations to enhance project profitability.
• Maintain and update a database of historical costs and performance metrics to inform future estimation processes.
• Prepare and present detailed bid proposals, ensuring clarity and transparency for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather cost data and validate estimates against market trends.
• Utilize advanced estimation software tools to streamline the estimation process and improve accuracy.
• Review and analyze change orders, providing timely estimates for additional work as required.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance the quality of cost estimates.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation within the construction sector.
• Strong analytical skills to dissect complex project specifications and produce reliable cost estimates.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, integrating estimation with project timelines and budgets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors.
