Job Description

Under general project supervision, this position assists with the planning and coordination of Project Document & Data Management (PDDM) project responsibilities including support of task force objectives and project milestones. This position will provide support for any role in PDDM in an efficient manner while maintaining effective communication with Project Client, Engineering Subcontractors, internal taskforce members and field personnel. The individual will work on intermediate level work processes and will work with the process throughout with a team or independently and will learn high level processes on a smaller to medium project and work within a team. This position requires an individual to be well versed in working within at a minimum of four (4) or more PDDM workfaces (i.e., In-House Engineering, Supplier data, Work Packages, Contracts, Reporting, or Support for Documents for Operations). Intermediate Data Management System experience is required. Related industry experience is required.

1. Follow and perform the PDDM Quality and Execution Plans
2. Oversee specified PDDM workfaces
3. Has the authority to release specified documents without a more senior position to quality check
4. Attend meetings on behalf of Execution Lead as required, such as project task force meetings or engineering team meetings
5. May have the responsibility to check quality assurance on the work of others for accuracy and timeliness
6. May direct the work activity and training of junior roles and new PDDM staff
7. Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

1. A combination of education and directly related experience equal to five (5) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
2. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
3. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
4. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

1. Two (2) year technical degree, diploma, or global equivalent preferred
2. Requires five (5) years of project related experience
3. Thorough, working knowledge of and experience with computers and specialized software programs such as electronic document management systems, relational databases, and internet based project collaboration systems
4. Has problem resolution and troubleshooting skills
5. Demonstrated problem resolution and troubleshooting skills
6. Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
8. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
9. Leadership skills
