We are seeking an experienced attorney to join the Corporate & Project Finance Legal Practice of the Project Development & Finance Department in the Law Organization as [Senior Counsel].
The Law Organization at Saudi Aramco is responsible for providing legal counsel and advisory services to Saudi Aramco’s business units, subsidiaries and joint ventures. The Corporate & Project Finance Legal Practice within the Law Organization is responsible for, among other matters, advising on, negotiating, and documenting Saudi Aramco’s corporate and project finance transactions and capital market transactions.
The [Senior Counsel’s] primary role is to lead the legal activities with respect to the development and implementation of finance and capital markets transactions, including the structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution of such transactions. As part of the responsibilities, the [Senior Counsel] will also advise Saudi Aramco Management and internal clients with respect to Saudi Aramco’s legal rights and obligations, agreements, and common statutory or similar processes in connection with finance and capital markets transactions. The [Senior Counsel] will also liaise and work with other attorneys in the Law Organization, as it relates to tax, antitrust, joint venture development and regulatory compliance. In addition, the [Senior Counsel] will engage and manage outside counsel on a cost-effective basis.
The [Senior Counsel] will report to the Practice Leader of the Corporate & Project Finance Legal Practice. While the position is based in Dhahran, this is a global practice and requires commensurate travel.
