Our client is a key player in a consortium dedicated to delivering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ambitious National Renewable Energy Program. This initiative aims to achieve a total renewable energy capacity of 11.4 GW once fully operational.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specification Engineer (Electrical Engineer) to develop, review, and manage technical specifications for electrical engineering projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all electrical systems, materials, and components meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, technical expertise in materials, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Specification Development:
   - Prepare and manage detailed technical specifications for electrical systems, equipment, and materials.
   - Ensure specifications align with project objectives, regulatory standards, and client requirements.
2. Technical Review & Compliance:
   - Review electrical designs, schematics, and drawings to ensure alignment with specifications.
   - Ensure compliance with international and local standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
3. Collaboration & Coordination:
   - Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure clarity and alignment on technical requirements.
   - Address technical queries and liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
4. Material Evaluation & Selection:
   - Research, evaluate, and recommend electrical components and materials based on quality, cost, and project needs.
   - Maintain a database of approved suppliers and materials for future reference.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
   - Create and update technical documentation, including specification manuals and reports.
   - Provide detailed technical insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   - Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies, materials, and standards.
   - Identify and implement best practices to enhance specification processes and project efficiency.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in electrical engineering or specification management are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in specification engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record in large-scale electrical engineering projects, preferably in construction or energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and materials.
- Proficiency in electrical design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar software.
- Knowledge of applicable standards and codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
