Advanced Smelting Industries Co. (ASIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee, has an exciting opportunity available for Specialist, OT Infrastructure based in Jizan, reporting directly to the Manager, Process Technology and BI.

About the role:

ASIC’s IT/OT architecture consists of three layers: the Process Control Zone (Level 3), Demilitarized Zone (Level 3.5), and the EBS network (Level 4). The nature of the systems present in each of the different zones requires the expertise of a Specialist OT. These systems include, but are not limited to, operational information systems, process tools, data management, data back-up, firewalls, anti-virus, and remote access systems. The Specialist OT will also work on future operational needs, business improvement, and development, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of these applicable systems.

You will be responsible for:

• Contributing to implementing and maintaining IT/OT systems, associated infrastructure, and remote access to support business operations.
• Supporting IT/OT security, data protection, risk management, and disaster recovery tasks.
• Assisting in evaluating and implementing core IT/OT systems and business solutions to meet organizational goals.
• Helping define IT/OT system requirements and departmental workflows.
• Assisting in operating, administering, monitoring, and maintaining OT systems and communication networks.
• Supporting departments with their IT/OT needs.
• Participating and executing IT/OT projects, specifically system planning, deployment, configuration, and commissioning.
• Supporting network infrastructure and network systems hardware/software (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) required for the OT system.
• Providing support for IT/OT systems, hardware, and software.
• Supporting systems to manage data and make it available for use within the organization.
• Developing and implementing systems and process tools to meet operational and process needs.
• Managing software licensing, updates, and upgrades within the OT environment.
• Ensuring compliance with IT/OT and cyber security policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

5 years of experience or more in IT/OT systems in a business environment, including implementation and improvement projects.
