Job Description

  • Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Sourcing of parts whilst maintaining correct inventory levels to support the national network.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and ensure stock levels are adequate.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of parts to facilitate easy access.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure parts availability.
  • Manage the ordering process, including negotiating with suppliers for the best terms.
  • Pricing parts to maintain profitability.
  • Manage credit accounts and ensure prompt payment of creditors.
  • Manage inter-departmental relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Achieving revenue & contribution targets.
  • High levels of customer service.
  • Identify future supply/logistics challenges and overcome to reduce impact on supply chain.
  • Ensure all legal import controls standards are met to provide prompt delivery of products.
  • Provide accurate reporting of actual/forecast sales to provide maximum accuracy for management.
  • Liaise with regional/international colleagues to understand market challenges.
  • Manage department staff and staffing levels.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as spare parts manager in an automotive field.
  • Experience in Chinese auto brands is desirable.
  • Strong communication and computational skills.
  • Team spirit
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field
  • Strong leadership skills
