- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Sourcing of parts whilst maintaining correct inventory levels to support the national network.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and ensure stock levels are adequate.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of parts to facilitate easy access.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure parts availability.
- Manage the ordering process, including negotiating with suppliers for the best terms.
- Pricing parts to maintain profitability.
- Manage credit accounts and ensure prompt payment of creditors.
- Manage inter-departmental relationships to achieve common goals.
- Achieving revenue & contribution targets.
- High levels of customer service.
- Identify future supply/logistics challenges and overcome to reduce impact on supply chain.
- Ensure all legal import controls standards are met to provide prompt delivery of products.
- Provide accurate reporting of actual/forecast sales to provide maximum accuracy for management.
- Liaise with regional/international colleagues to understand market challenges.
- Manage department staff and staffing levels.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as spare parts manager in an automotive field.
- Experience in Chinese auto brands is desirable.
- Strong communication and computational skills.
- Team spirit
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field
- Strong leadership skills
