Responsible for ensuring that all country related projects are implemented in scope of the required deliverables.
Develop & establish strategic project management & quality standards and methods that ensure on-time & in-scope delivery.
Manage performance, productivity, quality and compliance of the delivery function.
Remove obstacles & negotiate with various stakeholders.
Manage & mitigate risks in all country projects.
Represent the company as SPOC for all operations issues in the country.
Work closely with the country manager and the LOBs to set standards for the customers’ satisfaction and operational targets.
Set plans of action to ensure that the operational targets are reached.
Communicate regularly with key account managers to compile a customer satisfaction index.
Follow up on project progress and conduct periodical client visits with Project Manager to discuss any delays or concerns from a project management perspective.
Intervene in any project challenges in coordination with Head of Projects of LoB to ensure that a solution is reached and is implemented thoroughly and within time of project.
Ensure that an excellent service management is maintained during warranty and service agreements periods.
Act as the Service Manager during the warranty period in case of absence of a resident Service Manager in the country.
Ensure that opportunities and projects are registered on the ERP system in due time to facilitate logging information and reporting to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
Ensure all project contracts and legal documents are signed and archived within the assigned Country.
Attend all kick-off meetings to ensure full understanding of the required delivery.
Monitor the timely implementation of projects and ensure their achievement of milestones and coordinate with both accounting manager and project managers for progress billing.
Monitor the cash in-out and baseline continuously and report any risks to the PM, Head of PMs, Accounting Manager and Country Manager or as per the risk process – if defined.
Ensure that all purchasing requirements are met as per the Project Procurement Plan.
Coordinate with subordinates to compile a Weekly Projects Status Report submitted by the Project Managers and report them to the Country Manager for updates on current project status.
Review with the accounting manager the monthly financial reports and submit to the Country Manager for review.
Facilitate logistics for the assigned project team in terms of visa, work permit and accommodations.
Confirm that all final project documents are archived and uploaded on the system and manage handover to Service Team to initiate warranty cycle.
Work with other CDD(s) in other countries to prepare standard policies & procedures manuals to be implemented across all countries after being reviewed and approved by country managers.
Work with Head of PM(s) across all LoBs to ensure that an appropriate communication plan is in place that will maintain the flow of information during the project life cycle.
Develop a “Who’s Who” manual to support the operations and other countries teams in communicating with the country.
Report all challenges faced in projects and its successful resolution to the KM system as a reference for all future challenges.
Administratively oversee the operations within the assigned country.
Communicate with Head of PM(s) to ensure that the PMs are developed to handle greater challenges.
Manage and record the different learning from the operation to ensure the sharing and transfer of knowledge.
Develop a teamwork and open communication environment within the team.
Ensure that the performance of the operation management teams is properly managed with continuous development.
Minimum Requirements:
More than 8-15 years of experience in Software Project Management.
