Position Summary
Raqtan is eager to connect with new audiences and engage our existing base through compelling social media initiatives. We are seeking a social media specialist to help us expand our digital footprint and support our social communications efforts. They will help to develop and implement informed content strategies tailored to the strengths of various social media platforms to increase brand awareness and affinity. In doing so, the social media specialist will maximize customer engagement with Raqtan’s goods and services, thereby helping us to accomplish our goals year over year.

Raqtan provides comprehensive commercial kitchen solutions for both hotel projects and F&B outlets across the hospitality sector. Our scope of work encompasses detailed consultation, custom kitchen design, and full engineering services. We specialize in the supply and installation of complete commercial kitchen equipment packages, including coldrooms, water filtration systems, and custom stainless steel fabrications. Our technical team handles all aspects of installation, testing, and commissioning of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. With end-to-end project management capabilities, we deliver turnkey commercial kitchen solutions that meet the exacting standards of high-end hospitality establishments, handling everything from initial planning through final implementation.

- Raqtan (raqtan.com) - the original brand, more than 40 years in the market, mostly serving enterprise customers (chain accounts) through dedicated sales teams in Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dubai.
- Ekuep (ekuep.com) - ecommerce marketplace for commercial kitchen equipment, targeting primarily SMEs, providing the best prices, unmatched selection, and the convenience of buying online.
- Qavashop (qavashop.com) - ecommerce marketplace for high-end domestic coffee equipment and specialty coffee beans. A hub for coffee lovers.
- Miran (miran.sa) - stainless steel factory, supporting our commercial kitchen projects, but also engineering new lines of products for the oil and gas industry.
- Brodan (brodan.co) - our cooling and refrigeration brand, developing and manufacturing a full line of refrigeration products - from small refrigerated display cases to large, industrial cold rooms.
- Spherey (spherey.com) - a mobile platform revolutionizing the way technical service is provided in the F&B industry, creating a marketplace for independent and freelance technicians.
Responsibilities
- Use social media tools to craft and release content to our social channels.
- Develop social media campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Become an extension of the company’s brand to connect with existing customers, and acquire new ones.
- In collaboration with the marketing manager, analyze the company’s social strategy to make frequent improvement suggestions.
- Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep the Company's social media presence consistently relevant.
- Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations.
Skills and qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in creating engaging content for social media platforms.
- Proven ability to build and manage online communities.
- Experience working with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Expert in digital marketing strategy development across multiple platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in SEO/SEM techniques and campaign optimization.
- Skilled in marketing analytics tools with strong data interpretation abilities.
- Experienced in managing social media campaigns and content calendars.
- Proficient in CRM systems and customer journey mapping.
- Capable of developing compelling content across various digital formats.
- Knowledgeable in marketing automation and lead generation techniques.
- Familiar with budget management and marketing ROI analysis.
- Experienced in coordinating cross-functional marketing initiatives.
