Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Smart Home Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on designing, installing, and maintaining smart home systems that integrate seamlessly with energy-efficient solutions. As a Smart Home Engineer, you will work with customers to create customized, sustainable, and innovative smart home experiences, while ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement custom smart home automation systems, including lighting, security, HVAC, audio-visual, and energy management solutions.
2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart devices and home automation systems (e.g., smart thermostats, cameras, lighting, security systems).
3. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored smart home solutions.
4. Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure system compatibility and effectiveness.
5. Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for clients' smart home systems.
6. Stay updated with the latest advancements in smart home technologies, energy solutions, and automation.
7. Work with the project management team to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
8. Provide training and demonstrations to clients on using their smart home systems effectively.
9. Ensure all installations and maintenance are in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience in smart home system design, installation, and troubleshooting.
2. Strong knowledge of home automation platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant, Alexa, Google Home, etc.).
3. Experience with smart home devices such as security cameras, lighting control, HVAC, entertainment systems, and energy management tools.
4. Understanding of network configurations and Wi-Fi systems.
5. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
6. Strong customer service and communication skills.
7. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Knowledge of Saudi Arabian standards and regulations related to smart home technology is a plus.
9. [Optional] Certifications in home automation, energy systems, or related fields (e.g., CEDIA, Lutron, KNX, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with energy-efficient home solutions and integration with renewable energy sources.
2. Familiarity with IoT and smart home communication protocols (Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi).
3. Experience with voice assistant integration (Alexa, Google Assistant).
