KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product:

Define market requirements for future products based on primary and secondary research with customers (VOC), sales, partners, and internal sources. Develop and execute plans addressing product, pricing, channel, messaging and competitive positioning, working closely with regional marketing teams on launch and promotion. The individual shall be the customer interface for scoping of project specific enhancements needed. This will involve requirement finalization for project specific requirements (FRS-Functional Requirement Specification & IFRS-Integration Functional Requirement Specification finalization) & will be responsible for HON acceptance signoff prior to UAT-User Acceptance Testing, for both the functional requirements documented in the FRS and the integrations documented in the IFRS.

Customer interface & Sales enablement:

Lead demos, workshops, events, POCs and other technical discussions for our internal sales teams and customers in coordination with HON and HBT businesses and offerings. Work with Sales and Corporate Communications to evangelize and promote the product in achieving quarterly revenue and profit goals. Roll out priced proposals to HBS sales pursuit teams for the HON smart city software. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s Degree. Three or more years of experience as a product manager of a network-connected, software product offering sold globally through multiple channels. Strong technical understanding of software and cloud. Prior software development and/or software architecture experience. Familiarity with public sector contracting cycles and funding mechanisms. Relevant experience marketing solutions involving IoT, telecom or other distributed network solutions and offerings. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
