Site Engineer - Mechanical Firefighting
Job Description
A Mechanical Site Engineer in firefighting projects oversees all related site activities, ensuring firefighting projects are completed successfully. They supervise installation, conduct surveys and tests, and prepare reports. Closely working with project teams and managers, they ensure timely, accurate completion according to specifications. They also ensure procedural adherence, accurate documentation, and conduct team awareness sessions to enhance overall efficiency.
- Responsible for all site activities in firefighting projects.
- Supervise the installation of firefighting projects.
- Conduct site surveys and testing for firefighting activities.
- Prepare Project Progress Reports and timesheets; submit to the project manager and construction manager.
- Prepare descriptive technical reports on occurring problems.
- Follow up work progress with project teams, up to handing over to the end user.
- Prepare the site survey report and ensure report submission to the services manager/PM.
- Ensure procedures are followed and specified steps are taken.
- Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation, and user guides as required; ensure team knowledge is up to date.

Technical Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of good practical experience in firefighting systems.
- Good practical experience in the implementation and testing phases of the project.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
