Shift Supervisor

We are looking to hire a Production Shift Supervisor to join our team in Guardian Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Our Team

This position will be part of the plant manufacturing team.

What You Will Do

1. Leading an operational team in a safe and efficient manner and to take ownership of vision advancement, safety, quality, and productivity.
2. Build a high-performing team by understanding your direct reports' individual capabilities and utilizing them as a whole. Work with the team to create personalized development plans, deliver meaningful coaching, and be involved in selecting and retaining the right people.
3. Driving safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. Providing safety training to crew members and delivering training materials in a meaningful approach.
4. Facilitating team development and communication, employee skill development, problem solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership, and holding employees accountable.
5. Monitoring product quality and providing direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.
6. Promoting employee involvement, providing coaching, feedback, and direction as required.
7. Assisting with troubleshooting production issues.
8. Completing data entry responsibilities and generating reports in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Conducting annual performance reviews for direct reports and ensuring the application of the individual performance development cycle.
10. Understanding the cost of decisions and impact on departments and other processes.
11. Meeting or exceeding KPI goals by demonstrating success in measuring and improving processes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

1. Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience working in an operations environment.
2. Technical & Mechanical aptitude to learn a manufacturing process, including being logically minded and process-oriented.
3. Experience in effectively articulating verbal and written messages, information, and ideas to a diverse group of people, leading to shared understanding.
4. Experience creating charts, graphs, and formulas in Excel, and creating/sending emails in Outlook.
5. Experience in leading a high-performing team as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Flexibility to work in rotating shifts.

What Will Put You Ahead

1. Experience in glass production or any heavy industry.
2. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
