Services Engineer

Job Title: Heavy Machinery Technician

Qualifications:

Job Description:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy machinery.

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and field technicians.

Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.

Maintenance & Repair:

1. Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance.
2. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
3. Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
4. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.
5. Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
6. Conduct customer visits to assess machinery performance and address any service-related issues.
7. Provide technical training and support to internal staff, including service technicians and sales teams.
8. Develop and deliver training programs for customers on the proper use and maintenance of heavy equipment.
9. Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory usage.
10. Prepare and submit regular reports on service operations, equipment performance, and customer feedback.
11. Collaborate with the Service Manager to improve service processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
12. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
13. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards.
14. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards during service activities.
15. Identify opportunities for improving service efficiency and reducing downtime for customers.
16. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
17. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of service strategies.
18. Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Parts, Service, HR, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
19. Undertake additional job-related tasks as necessary to support the company's mission and operations.
20. Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.

6. Experience in the Saudi Arabian heavy equipment market.
7. Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Arabic and English) is highly desirable.
8. Frequent travel to customer sites.
9. Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites and industrial settings.
10. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as required.
