Job Description
Job Title: Service Technician.
Job Classification: Operational Service Support.
Job Location: KSA.
Job Purpose:
The position is responsible for providing off-site corrective & preventative maintenance along with other after-sales technical support solutions to maintain and rectify machinery that has been sold. Additionally, the Service Technician will need to communicate with consumers to provide information and instructions on how to handle their questions, issues, and requests.
Job Accountabilities:
Technical Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose faults and recommend repair solutions to the Regional Service Manager. Create effective technical reports on mechanical failure analysis, and warranty and provide them to the Regional Service Manager. To be able to operate all equipment and fully understand its function to evaluate performance and determine if a problem exists or not. Interpret service and parts manuals as well as schematics/diagrams for application to the repair plan. Advise customers on equipment operations and preventive maintenance.
Compliance with Service Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all work is carried out following company occupational health and safety regulations and with relevant environmental standards. Follow company uniform (dressing code) and safety gear at all times. Carry out repairs as per industry and supplier-prescribed standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and workshop floor.
Technical Skills Development: Have a minimum required understanding of necessary machine systems and identify problems using necessary electronic and mechanical tools as per suppliers' instructions. Compliance with Technician Career Development Plan (TCDP). To assist in the training and development of Trainees, Mechanics, and electricians through On Job Training and coordinate progress with Supervisors and the service development team. Have comprehensive knowledge of both the mechanical and electrical aspects of the machinery and equipment.
Utilization / Productivity / Efficiency: Carry out repairs to equipment in the minimum possible time and the minimum number of trips to customers' sites and alternatively within the company workshop.

Qualifications
Key Requirements:
Good Command of Spoken and Written English Skills.
Technical Diploma.
3+ years of experience in heavy machines.
Knowledge of the Schematics and the diagrams of the heavy machines.
Advanced to expert skills in hydraulic and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
Able to read hydraulic schematics/diagrams.
Has good knowledge of our products or equivalent competitor units.
Able to do Testing and Adjusting, Assembly and Disassembly, and Advance Troubleshooting. Commissioning.
Advance repairs and Troubleshooting. SME for at least one Division / Product Line. Application Support.
