The Machine Tools Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components in machine tools.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in machine tool electrical maintenance and repair are a plus.
Minimum Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical service engineering, specifically with machine tools.
Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning:
Install and commission new machine tools and related electrical equipment.
Ensure all electrical systems are correctly wired and configured.
Perform initial testing and adjustments to achieve optimal performance.
Maintenance and Repair:
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machine tools to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in machine tools and systems.
Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, drives, and control systems.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and operators.
Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of electrical systems in machine tools.
Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions to electrical problems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
Prepare service reports and documentation for each job performed.
Report any recurring issues or potential improvements to management.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Identify and address potential safety hazards in the work environment.
Continuous Improvement:
