Customer Services
In order to be able to provide the best possible service for the highly complex logistics systems, SSI SCHAEFER's Customer Services division offers an innovative service portfolio aimed at delivering maximum availability of all systems. The services can be divided into the following three areas:
- Reactive Services include 24/7 support available 365 days a year. SSI SCHAEFER has experienced and qualified engineers working at more than 90 service centers worldwide. In addition, with augmented support, the service technician can follow what is happening in real time and thus react quickly to service cases.
- Preventive services include preventive maintenance by specially trained service technicians using a computer-aided maintenance management system (SSI SCHAEFER CMMS). In addition, inspections, security checks, system monitoring and training for business partner employees is available.
- Life cycle management includes constant support for customers over the entire service life of their system and beyond. With the retrofit approach, the experts from SSI SCHAEFER bring the system up to date with the latest technology. In addition, the spare parts provision is available worldwide and around the clock.
What this role sets out to achieve
- You will be responsible for the sustainable support of our existing customers in Saudi Arabia.
What this role entails
- Achieve Sales & EBT Targets – Drive monthly and annual revenue through effective execution of service sales strategies.
- Generate & Convert Leads – Actively engage with existing customers to secure service sales.
- Define & Sell Service Concepts – Develop tailored service solutions for new and existing systems with Application Engineering support.
- Build Strong Customer Relationships – Maintain regular communication to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Leverage Global Tools – Utilize Salesforce, ISAAC, SaX, and other platforms for efficiency and tracking.
- Collaborate with APAC MEA CS – Work with regional teams to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Develop Technical Solutions – Partner with Application Engineering to customize service offerings.
- Manage Escalations – Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for SSI and customer issue resolution.
- Promote SSI Service Portfolio – Present and sell existing and new service solutions to customers.
- Stay Product-Savvy – Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and solutions to offer informed recommendations.
- Negotiate & Close Deals – Manage pricing discussions, contract terms, and ensure timely deal closure.
- Handle Service Agreements (SLAs) – Prepare, manage, and renew SLAs with customers.
- Maintain CRM Accuracy – Ensure all opportunity entries in Salesforce Lightning are updated accurately
- Ensure Timely Invoicing – Discuss and process billable/clearable incident tickets with customers.
- Act on Customer Feedback – Monitor Open Ears/NPS feedback and drive service quality improvements.
About you
Knowledge, abilities and experience
- 5 years of professional experience in B2B sales of complex technical products
- Advantage to have in-depth knowledge of intralogistics products
- Very good knowledge of English and other foreign languages an advantage
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20% of annual working hours)
- Comfortable in dealing with customers of all levels with good sales and negotiating skills
- Economic understanding, independent working style, initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Reliability, adherence to deadlines and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills, target-orientated personality with a high level of assertiveness
Education, certification and qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering and/or Economics
- Preferably from KSA with transferable IQAMA
